Olivia van Oppen is a London-based bespoke curtain and upholstery maker working throughout the UK. Following training at the Inchbald School of Design, she worked for well-established bespoke curtain-making and interior design studios across both the residential and commercial sectors. Olivia began her career in the workroom as a seamstress, spending several years gaining invaluable hands-on experience and a deep understanding of complex designs and challenging architectural spaces, enabling her to meticulously plan how each piece is best made.
With an extensive portfolio ranging from contemporary and traditional London townhouses and apartments to country houses, estates, hotels and restaurants, Olivia personally consults, measures, and sources fabrics, trimmings, and fixtures. Olivia works closely with her trusted team of talented seamstresses and experienced fitters to create and install beautifully made, bespoke furnishings.
Specialising in curtains, blinds, bed dressings, soft furnishings, and upholstery, Olivia ensures that every piece is made and installed to the highest standards.
